What's happening this week at the Yale Senior & Community Center?
Today we had 24 players for Bingo with Christina (Walker Companion Services), that's a new record!!
Tuesday at 10 a.m. there is a Wahoo Group starting in the cafeteria, new players are welcome to join.
Wednesday at 10 a.m. there will be a group playing Mexican Train Dominoes, if anyone would like to join.
Thursday from 10 a.m. - 12 p.m. is our Thursday Domino group. New players are welcome to join.
There are still spots available for the following classes, don't forget to sign up: Friends & Family CPR Class, S.A.I.L. Exercise Class, and Plastic Bag Crocheting Class.

Crews are working on the outage on Norfolk Road. A vehicle hit and broke a utility pole causing a power outage in that area. We currently do not have an estimated time for repairs, OMPA has been notified and is enroute to help with the repairs. We will send updates as we have them.
Don't forget to sign up for the Payne County Health Department Friends & Family CPR Class at the Yale Senior & Community Center on August 7th, 2026. This is a training class for those who do not need a certificate.

The Payne County Health Department is holding Staying Active and Independent for Life (SAIL) classes starting August 3rd. There are many benefits to these classes, such as strengthening your muscles, relieving stress, and lowering your blood pressure.
Classes will be held Mondays & Wednesdays from 10 a.m. - 11 a.m. from August 3rd - September 16th. The class is provided, free of Charge.

Oklahoma Human Services (OKDHS) will stop accepting summer cooling Energy Assistance applications today, Friday, July 17, 2026, at the close of business.
Clients that applied during open enrollment can continue turning in verification:
• online at OKDHSLIVE.org and click on Fast Pass Verification Upload button so it can be indexed to the case record,
• at any local OKDHS field office.

Cleveland Area Hospital will be visiting to provide free Blood Pressure screenings for the community. No sign up required.
The Police Department will be testing the storm sirens at 12:00 p.m. today, July 10, 2026.
Wednesday, July 15, 2026 from 10:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m. the Yale Senior & Community Center will have guests from Cleveland Area Hospital visiting to provide free Blood Pressure screenings for the community. No sign up required.
