Power has been restored. Please call City Hall at 918-387-2405 if you are still having power issues.
During the severe winds and power flashes, it would be advisable to shut off main breakers if possible. We will continue to update here as we have more information.

We will have a scheduled network outage today from roughly 9-10am, we'll have limited phones, we will be able to handwrite receipts for check and cash payments.
Republic notified us this morning that there were several areas that they could not service last week due to the weather and unsafe roads. Those areas will be picked up this week on the normal route schedule. For cart routes missed due to icy roads, all excess trash must be in bags and placed to the side of the cart next week on Thursday 2/5 and the drivers will pick the bags up. The bagged trash cannot be in front of the cart or on top of it.
24 hour disconnect notices for unpaid utility accounts will go out this Friday, January 30th. Utility disconnects will be scheduled for Monday, February 2nd. Payment extensions will be accepted through the close of business this Thursday, January 29th. If you have any questions regarding your utility account, please call the office at 918-387-2405.
Due to the weather and for the safety of our staff and residents, City Hall will open at 10:00am tomorrow morning, January 27th.
Republic has notified us that they will not be servicing any routes tomorrow, January 26th. They will be running at least a day behind the remainder of the week. We will post updates here as we have them.
Due to inclement weather conditions, City Hall and the Library will be closed tomorrow, January 26th. Utility cut-offs will be delayed due to the severe weather. If you have an emergency, please call the Police Department at 918-387-2403.
City Hall and Library Offices will be closed Monday, January 19th in observance of Martin Luther King, Jr. Day.

Oklahoma Human Services (OKDHS) will stop accepting winter heating Energy Assistance applications at midnight Friday, January 9, 2026.
Clients can apply online at www.okdhslive.org until 12:00:00 A.M. CST Saturday, January 10, 2026.
Clients that applied during open enrollment can continue turning in verification:
• online at OKDHSLIVE.org and click on Fast Pass Verification Upload button so it can be indexed to the case record,
• at any local OKDHS field office.
