24 hour disconnect notices for unpaid utility accounts will go out this Friday, January 30th. Utility disconnects will be scheduled for Monday, February 2nd. Oklahoma Human Services (OKDHS) will stop accepting winter heating Energy Assistance applications at midnight Friday, January 9, 2026.
Clients can apply online at www.okdhslive.org until 12:00:00 A.M. CST Saturday, January 10, 2026.

Republic has just now notified us that trash will not be serviced tomorrow. Services for Thursday and Friday of this week will be delayed by one day. We do apologize for this late notice and any inconvenience this may have caused.
Republic has asked us to remind all polycart customers that carts need to be placed at the curb on collection day. Carts need to be a minimum of 5 feet apart with clear access to the cart. The lid also needs to be able to completely shut with no excess waste protruding. Also, per City Code, please remember that all containers, whether alley collection or curbside collection, shall be placed in the proper location for collection not more than twelve (12) hours prior to the day of collection and shall be moved off of the right of way or alley boundary before the end of the day of collection.

Oklahoma Human Services will begin accepting online applications, Tuesday, January 6, 2026, for the low income home energy assistance program (LIHEAP). This federally funded program helps income-eligible families with their winter heating utility bills. You can apply or find more information regarding the LIHEAP program at OKDHSLive.org.
The Payne County Treasurer's office will be in the library on Friday, December 12th from 1pm-4pm to accept county tax payments.

Electric repairs have been completed, all power should now be restored. Thank you for your patience and understanding.
