Crews are working on the water leak. With the location of the leak, we are having to wait on ODOT staff before we can dig into the highway. Again, at this time we do not have a time frame for repair. We will update here as we have more information.

OMPA has notified us that OG&E has made repairs to their substation. Full power should now be restored, if you are without power or still have partial power, please call the Police Department at 918-387-2403.

We are still looking to gauge interest from the public regarding holding seats on an advisory board for the senior center. This board would oversee the management of the center but not be directly involved with the day to day operations. Just a reminder that trash services will be delayed this week due to the holidays.
All routes will run on a one-day delay:
• Thursday customers will be recovered on Friday.
• Friday customers will be recovered on Saturday.

Today is Election Day, voting will be held at the Church of Christ from 7am-7pm. This is a special election for City Commission Seat #3, every vote counts!

The Payne County Treasurer's office will be in the library on Friday, December 12th from 1pm-4pm to accept county tax payments.

City wide Trick-or-Treat will be Halloween night, Friday, October 31st. Please be safe, watch your surroundings as well as people walking. We wish everyone a fun and safe holiday!

Fall Clean Up October 20th - 26th. Dumpsters will be located behind the Armory. Must show a current City of Yale utility/trash bill. For after hours please call 918-387-2403.

City Hall will be opening late on Wednesday, September 17, 2025 to allow for scheduled maintenance on our phones and network. The office will open at 10am that morning, we do apologize for the inconvenience.

Republic notified us this morning that trash service will run as scheduled this week. There will be no delay due to the holiday.

Lone Chimney has notified us that the water line repair has been complete. We thank everyone for their patience.

Lone Chimney has just notified us that they will be shutting the water off at around 9am tomorrow for a line repair. With full water towers we should not be affected. Please conserve water as much as possible to ensure uninterrupted water service.
